The truth comes out - French court Rules Al Dura footage is hoax
The word is out - French court today ruled in favor of Phillipe Karsenty, overturning a lower court
decision that he had libeled France 2 and its Middle East correspondent
Charles Enderlin when he accused them of knowingly misleading the public about the death of the Palestinian child Mohammed al-Dura in the
Gaza Strip in 2000.
The footage in question, shot by Palestinian cameraman and France 2 stringer Talal Abu Rahma, showed the kid Al Dura hiding with his father and then jumped to showing Al Dura lying on the ground apparently dead. The voice over narrative created the impression it was Israel that killed the boy, leading to an unprecedented wave of hatred towards Israel.
Finally the truth comes out - now we'll see how main stream media in France and the world will react.
The media which was in such a hurry to broadcast to the world that Israel killed Al Dura, is so far relatively silent. Bloggers are taking the lead and reacting to these important news - here is a good summary from Augean Stables which was first out with the news. Just as the lie reached billions of people, we must aim for the truth to do the same.
Everyone reading this must do anything they can to spread the word to bring this issue to justice AND anything possible to bring justice to the people behind it.

Philippe Karsenty has done the world an enormous service
and I personally think that he is a very brave and heroic
man to take on the forces at work in this lie.

Bravo Philippe and to all the supporters of the truth! A long hard fight for truth by a true hero.

i think this is an important verdict to get out but im sorry to say that the youtube clip is terrible. we dont see who is speaking, it doesnt seem official, nothing is cited, and so on. something professional and academic should be produced. not a cartoon that comes off like bad propaganda

Finally the truth, a light of honesty, this news must spread if for no other reason to cast the news media, in the eyes of the public, for the liars they are. Bigoted, pro evil liars.
Kudos for all the hard work that went into exposing this.

If only this could get as much exposure as the original hoax!

FINALLY! But will the mainstream media take notice? I suggest that everyone who reads this here send it to a whole bunch of their friends and tell them to do the same.

The next truth that needs to come out is the hoax of the Palestinian identity. It never was, it was manufactured as a tool of the islamo-Nazi jihad to bludgeon the Jews, just like the Al-Dura hoax, and the Deir Yassin hoax.

Please do not confuse us with facts. No one is interested in truth when it comes to accusation of Jews. Remember who crucified Jesus? Yet, for 1,700 years the Jews were accused of killing him. So there is nothing new under the sun and even if the Palestinian killed Muhamed Al-Dura, it is the Israelis who took the blame.

It's about time that the truth is told and the Arab claims are shown to be nothing but filthy lies.

I am so glad that the world has a chance to see how the news groups are against Israel and how low they will go in order to bring hurt against Israel and the Jewish people. I give GOD the praise and glory for allowing the truth to come forth. I also thank the French Judges who made a stand and stood and told the truth, unlike the lower court judges who ruled there was no lies. Wonder how much was paid to them in order for them to do as they did? Maybe the people of France needs new Lower Court judges, as they may have sent people to prison who were not guilty, just because they were paid off.
I now hope all who condemed Israel and said the awful things about the IDF Soldiers, will have the guts to stand up and admit they were wrong and are sorry. It takes a Man or Woman to do that. If they cannot admit they were wrong, then they are as low as the ones who made up this lie! May GOD Bless Israel Forever!

I'm afraid that Yosha is right and even though the truth should be exposed as it was here, the fact is no one realy cares and Israel will continue to be blamed by the world for anything that happens regardless. Unfortunately this is a losing battle.

Perhaps, like with the false and hysterical claims about a Jenin massacre, journalists will feel a bit ashamed and more sceptical toward claims made by Arab leaders.
The media, while very imperfect, is far better in 2008 than just in 2001. This important court decision will help Israel.

thank G-d this has come to a true end & the truth is now out.But how unfortunate that whatever happens Israel will always be blamed as this can never be retracted from the viewers mind.No one other than a few right thinking people ever thought that this would be proved a complete fraud.Well done Mr. Karsenty for persevering in such a just cause.Kol hakavod to you & your lawyers & shame on the lower french courts with their twisted antisemitic & very anti Israeli inclinations.

Thanks for the cheering remarks - and also for the critical ones. My video cartoon is a 2 minutes long light-minded starter for the newcomer. On our website there is a 1500 words strong article for the academician. I think both are needed.

Sadly I think that the world will still try and ignore this.
